We are pleased to announce that Dysart Willis Houchin & Hubbard Associate Attorney, Meredith Pace, was elected Secretary of the Tenth Judicial District Bar and Wake County Bar Association, beginning January 2021. Ms. Pace was also a recipient of the Tenth Judicial District and Wake County Bar 2020 Presidents’ Award for her service and commitment to the Wake County Bar’s Young Lawyers Division.

For the past two years, Ms. Pace has co-chaired the Summer Clerk Orientation Committee on the Young Lawyers Division Board. The summer clerk orientation is an annual program hosted by the Young Lawyers Division as a way to welcome summer law school clerks by providing them with an insider’s view point of the legal community in Wake County. While traditionally an onsite, interactive program, faced with the challenges of 2020, Ms. Pace coordinated with her fellow co-chair, Jonathan Bogues of the law firm Jordan Price Wall Gray Jones & Carlton, PLLC, bar members and staff to create a revised orientation schedule. Through collaborative efforts, Ms. Pace helped organize a virtual series of “mini” orientation sessions throughout the summer while still achieving the Division’s goal of providing informative and meaningful programming to law clerks in Wake County.

Ms. Pace has thoroughly enjoyed her involvement with the bar to date, and is looking forward to continued commitment to our legal community.
