Dysart Willis is proud to announce that Senior Counsel Jim Kurosad will  serve on the faculty at the American Bar Association (ABA), Antitrust Law Section, 14th International Cartel Workshop, in Lisbon, Portugal, on June 27-29, 2022.  

Jim will speak on the How Covert Investigations Work panel to discuss his 30 years of experience investigating antitrust matters with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) as an FBI Special Agent and Legal Advisor in San Francisco, CA, Antitrust Division Trial Attorney and Assistant Chief in Atlanta, GA, and Assistant U.S. Attorney in Raleigh, NC. Jim also wrote an article for the workshop entitled, The Anatomy of DOJ Antitrust Investigations, which is a primer for U.S. criminal antitrust investigations throughout the world.

Other panelists include Jeffrey Martino, Baker McKenzie, New York, NY; Lisa Phelan, Morrison & Foerster, Washington, DC; and Douglas Tween, Linklaters, New York, NY.

Jim’s appearance in Lisbon comes after his lecture at the 2022 ABA 70th Antitrust Law Spring Meeting in Washington, DC.

Upon retiring from the DOJ in 2019, Jim joined Dysart Willis to lead its antitrust and white collar crime defense practice, including its government investigation and compliance team. Located in Raleigh, NC, Dysart Willis serves clients across the country in complex antitrust matters, grand jury investigations, and federal criminal trials.
